Industrial Fallout Ruined My Morning

SVR

Dream Machines
This morning i went about my weekly wash and detail and as i was doing my final touchup, checking for any missed areas and dried up water i noticed a tonne of industrial fallout (rust colored dots) on the rear bumper and quarter panel. I mean i get a few of these things on the car regularly, it's gonna happen but this was like someone had spray painted the rear bumper with red dots. And the worst thing about fallout is the horrible cheese grater feel the paint gets when there are heaps of these mungrels on one panel.

So like a bullet i ran out and got the Acidet fallout remover i had bought about eight months ago but had never used yet. Measured out the amount required (300gm to 5 litres of hot water) and set out to remove these things. Well it got it off but not as easily as i had hoped. I had one sore left arm after that. I had to use my special bug sponge which is fine for paint but i had to scrub pretty hard to get it off. Let the acidet settle for 10 minutes as instructed and then i rinsed it off and then dried the paint. Immediately got out the magnum top gear lustre power instant shine polymer sealant. This stuff is great because you don't get annoying white residue all over the place and its easy to apply.

Well i got there and the paint is smoother than i have ever felt it.

I know clay bars can do the same job but i found this much easier and only a 15 minute job.

Where does this fallout come from and how come i got a tonne of it on the car at once?

How come the Farecla,3M Swirl, Magnum Top Gear instant shine, PPG final glaze and 3M premium wax protection on the car stop these little Bas**RD's from contaminating my paint.
