I've tried:

TOL cheap MFs

wal mart MFs

Wal mart large MF drying towel

Turtle wax MFs

My favorites:

for wax/polish removal: Turtle wax MFs

for drying: wal mart large MF drying towel

why?

-turtle wax has no lint really nice feel to it, really plush.

-the wal mart drying towel takes everything in one pass, doesnt lint or scratch, nice and thick.

Tried:

Megiuars ( locally )

towels you get with the Klasse kit ( autogeek )

Cobra 5 pack ( autogeek )

Exceldetail ( patrick )

Ultimate Drying Towel WW ( autopia )

Awaiting the arrival of:

Ultimate detailing towels ( autopia )

Favourites:

autopia ultimate drying towel WW - would never be without a WW again, hands down the best way to dry a car

exceldetail - his gold MF's are the nicest, plushest towels I have used, prior to that the cobra miracle towel was my favourite

Biggest disappointment:

cobra glass MF - lints up no matter what I do, I have given up trying to get it to "work". Other MF's have done the job with no fuss so it has been dropped to crud duties as punishment!

Satisified with Walmart's (Concordia) MF--use them for door jams, wheels and use extensively in the home for cleaning, dusting, etc.

For removal of wax, polishes, etc.--love the JT International towels I have had now for over two years. Used externsively and still in great shape.

Would like to try others, but first child on the way and my detailing budget is almost non-existent. Wonder if they could make a diaper in MF????

I have:

Megs Ultimate Wipes.

PakShak: WW, Regular 16 x16 and 24 x24, and Ultra Fine.

Autogeek: Magic/Miracle Towel, WW, and Cobra Towels.

Autofiber

Concordia

CMA: Big Blue WW, Dragons Breath towels, and Viper Towels.

Micotek, purchased at canadian tire. Exactly the same as Concordia.

6.5 sq ft Simoniz drying towel. Looks and feels like a giant Magic/Miracle towel.

Turtle Wax and several other lesser known brands.

My favorites:

Pakshak UltraFine. Softes towel I have used and very plush.

Magic/Miracl Towel. Second most plush and soft.

Simoniz Drying Towel. Exactly the same as the Miracle Towel just bigger.

Regular Pakshak. Soft, plush, well constructed, and great price, these are my work horse towels.

Autopia Ultimate Drying Towel - great for drying

Wallmart MF's - ok

Turtle Wax MF's - better

i know, i need better stuff

ExcelDetail WW and terry MF - drying, buffing/QD'ing and glass

PakShak - Drying, buffing/Qd'ing and glass

DF Towel - final buffing and post-Cali dusting

Autofiber (MicrofiberTech) MF and WW - drying, buffing/QD'ing and glass

All excellent towels :bow

most recently ive had the cosco mfs autopia WW drying towel and viper edgeless polishing mf and autogeek mfs

cosco mfs lint but after a few washes they are good and pretty plush

autopia WW drying mf is amazying

the viper is great for buffing and available locally at fred meyer or shucks for 5 bucks!

autogeeks are nice much softer then cosco

TW .. best towels for interior window cleaning .. kept just for that.. no lint and just pulls the crap off the windows.

WalMart towels .. for doors etc and I also use them for wax removal.
