If you have tried to post an image from a hosting service using the vB code tag, and got the link in your message instead of the picture, read on . . .
Some image hosting services use an '&' in the URL; unfortunately, this seems to befuddle the vB code parser. You can get the links to display correctly, though, if you use the HTML syntax for an image instead of the vB code syntax (you can mix the two languages in your message composition without a problem). Try this syntax instead of [IMG]:
[img]http://www.myhost.com/imagepath.asp?id=3384&A=p
Just replace the string in the src="http://..." portion of the tag with your URL. No guarantees, but this has worked with several troublesome image hosting URLs in the past.
