Im in awe P21S

Before I start I want to beat some of you to the punch. so.....

:showpics :)

I tried to take pics but my old olympus just didnt show the comparison. I woke up early this morning and went to get coffee and then drove to the Perth Amboy water front to just enjoy the morning. I was hanging out and looking at my truck. Being the never satisfied type, I decided to try some P21S on my hood. Now, keep in ming that my truck is my work truck and I try to keep it pristine for business purposes and it gets washed at least once a week with NXT wash and booster waxed with NXT spray wax. I usually give it a NXT paste wax once a month. I washed the truck last night and gave it a quick NXT boost. well, let me tell you folks, the P21s made that blue metallic hood richer, wetter and darker. I couldnt believe it.The depth was incredible and the ease of application was ridiculously easy. I am very curious on how this stuff will look with Klasse treatment and using P21s as a topper. Now please dont take this thread as a product hype thread. Im just incredibly dumbfounded by the results I got with this stuff. I had the jar for about a month and never thought twice about using it. Does P21S keep getting deeper as you layer it and do I need a curing lapse between layers?

Are sure it wasn't the NXT? To the best of my knowledge, once fully cured, usually in a day's time, a carnauba wax doesn't change the appearance of the finish more than it already has. :nixweiss. Do you mean you have a truck topped with P21s wax, you wash it regularly, follow with the NXT boost and have noticed the change in appearance? Does look as if it were freshly waxed every time you do this?

I've noticed enhanced depth when I apply Souveran ( can do with P21s also) via the spit shine method.

Congrats on your first p21S experience! It's one of the many great carnaubas I've been using for years. It was actually the first carnauba that made me laugh when I used it for the first time because it's effortless to apply/remove. Remember.........you don't need to slop it on........a thin coat is all you need. P21S layers very well. I've layered 3 coats without any problems. ( 24 hours between coats ) I do suggest a quality quick detailing spray to use after washes to remove water spots or just to replenish the shine & protection. Pinnacle Crystal Mist is my favorite QD to use with quality carnaubas. ClearKote QuickShine,Poorboy's Spray & Gloss & the QD's from Chemical Guy's are also top notch QD's as well. If you like P21S you might wanna try S100,Souveran,Trade Secret,Natty's,Natty's Blue, Meg's #26 Paste,DP Max Wax,Chemical Guy's XXX Hardcore Paste & Butter Wet Wax, Optimum Car Wax & ClearKote's Carnauba Moose. (just to name a few) All teriffic products that produce amazing results & are super easy to use.

BillD, I dont think it was the NXT. I did notice a depth thing going on with NXT but I applied the P21S over it about 12 hours later. I did half the hood and saw a definate difference on how it darkened and deepened the paint. side by side it was noticeable. Im not ruling out the combo of the 2 but this certainly works for me. I just went out again to look and I definately see a difference. Even with the NXT, I do get that freshly waxed look with the booster and the paste. But for some strange reason, P21s made it just a definate notch better.

BlkTac05. I am going to give it the 24 hour lcure time and then hit it again. I hope this will deepen it even more.

I apply P21S after every wash which is weekly. It is so easy on and off I can't resist using it. Perhaps someone could verify if this is as good as layering or do you need to layer after 24hours to get the full layering effect and protection?

This was the outcome after P21S. Im pretty certain that is is the NXT P21S combo. Like I originally said, the camera stinks

That is an effective layering procedure. Your wax should cure at a minimum of 24 hrs., but I find that a week or up to 3 weeks time before adding more wax somehow makes the finish seem deeper and have a more hard and clear finish quality. You shouldn't cake on too many layers at a single time or add too heavy a coat on at one time because it will be harder to control streaking, and that heavy stuff will wash off quicker than you can say "sneeze". (been there, done that). A little (put on correctly) will go a long way!

Thanks for that. I do my polishing and waxing by hand so I take my time to ensure I layer it as best I can. Hopefully santa will bring a PC this year
