Hi guys...

Sorry I've been absent for a while. I was dealing with the douchebaggery that is Autopia. I'm not sure how your experience with it has been but mine has been VERY negative. I couldn't get anybody to answer any of my questions, my write-ups went ignored, and in some cases I was insulted. How that site developed the following it has is beyond me.

So here I am. :howdy Hopefully you can forgive me.

I thought you was DEAD! JK. Missed you here. I only go to A!@#$%^, when Im very bored, or not many posts here. To me its not interesting there. :dcrules

Autopia is a big place with all the advantages and disadvantages.

Most everyone are small fish in a big pond plus it has a large diverse audience (experience levels and demographics) but they their cliques too. If someone is expecting instant respect or lauding posts, I do not think it comes easily over there since they are less supportive. There is just too many people.

Could it have possibly been the write ups???

Out of curiosity, I went and looked at a couple of his write ups, and I think they are pretty well written with a lot of photo evidence. I didn't really catch anything negative from them - neither from anything that should have been added nor comments left by other members.

With bigger size and post activity, there's just a lot more chance of getting overlooked in regards to an answered post than somewhere with fewer members. Also, all those members contribute to a more diverse atmosphere. While I don't post over there much, there is a lot of wisdom over at Autopia - as well as other detailing forums. I definitely wouldn't ignore it when it came time for me to research and/or find answers about something.
