Figured I might as well reintroduce myself, since I've been on here since `03, and have a whole 13 posts. Until today, my most recent post looks to be March of `07. Back then I was working in the oil field, and had just bought a black Dodge Ram. The sheer size of it, and the ability of the oil field mud to cling to EVERYTHING made me very lazy with keeping it clean. I got rid of it, vowing never to own another black vehicle again. I went through two silver cars and one single stage white one. Silver was an awesome color, and even though I kept with the habits of the Dodge, and would only clean it when the chrome on the wheels would turn black, its paint never seemed to complain. The white car was similar, though a little more loved, since its old paint would quickly oxidize if I didn't at least wax it once in awhile. I know, it was bad. Both those cars are now gone; replaced by a Honda CRZ that I want to keep looking nice, especially since it is black.
So, hello again. I will probably lurk around, much like last time, and see what has changed here, and with detailing, in the last seven years.
