Just a warning: I to have used car products to clean my bathroom, shower, sink, faucet, etc. Make sure you don't let your mother, girlfriend, significant other know how clean you can get things. If you do, you will be doing all of their showers/tubs. :)

Great job!

^^^^^^

Amen to that, brother !

cj , you keep that up and it's just a matter of time 'til you

find yourself asking if it's OK to stand up to take a pee.

I've learned the hard way to keep that kinda info to myself.

(just kidding, [but not really])

Anyway , the tub looks great ! I tried something like that once,

but it didn't come out NEARLY that well.

Bravo !

Can you tell me more about the renovation. The tube looks real good. Nice detail work!

Thanks all for looking! I though some might get a kick out of it:chuckle:

Its a 3 unit 3 story apartment building. pretty much a complete renovation. He ripped some walls down moved the kitchen and the bath room ,tore alot of the floor up to replace with advantech, and is re wiring it. He is putting in new appliances and doing alot of tiling, as well as sanding down and re sealing the original hardwood floor. This is like the 6th or 7th tub Ive done for him(I also detail his trucks:think2:lol ).

I used optimum compound, without any lsp. I didnt clay, but would have tried it if I had it with me, the last bit of residue from the silicone was a pain!

My wife keeps the house very nice, so I dont have to worry about messing with stuff unless I want to:lol The only thing I do is seal up the stainless steel stuff to keep the finger printing down.

It's funny you started this thread. I've been systematically doing the spring cleaning bit at home. I just Poli-sealed a shower stall in my townhouse and topped with OCW (sorry no pics). Looks so good I'm going to have to tackle the whirlpool tub upstairs this weekend.

Theres nothing like watching water bead down the smooth angles of a shower wall....wait a min:grinno:

It's interesting what men will do out of

sheer curiousity and boredom.

I polished and waxed the kitchen floor once...you know,

just because. Long story short , it almost earned me

a divorce when my wife came home and , before I

could warn her, nearly broke her a$$ on the freshly

detailed, slick and shiny floor.

The up side is that it's that sort of stupidity that gets me out of

other household chores. She assumes correctly that I'll probably

take things too far and endanger someone's health.

Whaddy'a gonna do ? :nixweiss

I have AJT in the shower, and use ONR QD to keep it clean, but I have never waxed the floor! The kids would use it as a skating rink.

I should have been clearer. The SIDES of my tub/shower unit have AJT on them; the floor does not. Waxing the floor could get someone seriously killed.

I just sealed my stove with EX-P before we had some visitors the other day. MAN it was looking so good, especially since it is black...
