So I saw the thread going on about F4 from IGL and it just so happens that I had a detail in yesterday in which I used F4.
So this product is a coating repair/AIO type polish. Its non abrasive but can be used with light to medium polishing pads to achieve a bit of correction all while laying down a slick layer of protection.
On a coated vehicle I have paired it with a soft black foam finishing pad on my Rupes Duetto to repair minor surface love marks.
On this CTSV I used a yellow IGL foam pad with F4 on my 21mm to achieve a bit more correction then machine applied Igl Premier to amp up the gloss and hydrophobic properties. This was a perfect 1-2 punch for a budget friendly exterior detail like the client wants. This Caddie definitely needs heavy correction work but this helped out a bit.
It definitely doesn`t replace true paint correction so don`t purchase it thinking its some crazy heavy correction and coating polish in one package.
So it is a bit watery and other users along with myself have found adding a bit of distilled water and putting a spray head on it makes it a bit easier to control the dispensing process all while making it work a bit longer without drying out.
Otherwise it also works killer when paired with IGL F1 or other compounds for a one step correction with great gloss.
Hope this helps!!!
