if you could have or invent one detailing product, what would it be? it could be ANYTHING car care related...

I'd love to have a product that actually repelled dust! As the owner of a black car, dust is my mortal enemy! :grrr

A machine that spins my car around and when it's done, it sparkles... like in Gran Turismo

Or Zymol, so I can charge people $30K for a wax

Mine would be two fold. One wouldn't be a product, but paint that is resistant to chipping, and second would be an lsp that looks great, lasts for at least a year, and is so slick that nothing including bugs and tar will stick to it so that you could wash the car by just hitting it with a garden hose.

A long lasting sealant that matches the looks of high end waxes :)

BINGO. A Sealant that applies like Opti-Seal (only no-streaking) with looks like Souveran (or your Nuba favorite) that lasts 6 months on a single application, 12 months when layered.

I want an LSP that resists water spots + dust...

A WOWA glass cleaner. God, I would pay 100/bottle for that.

Closest I have found to that is Surf City Garage clearly better. Give it a try, and by your standards, it is a bargain at $12:woot:

Z8! By far my favorite detailing product, genre set aside, I'll take Z8 on brand new paint unswirled. Love the smell, has great durability for a spray sealant and very easy to use.

I want a interior bomb - like a flea bomb you set off in your den to kill the fleas the dog or cat got in the sofa. But this product blasts a cloud of scrubbing bubbles that clean ALL interior surfaces and disolves into a fine powder that you could blow out with a vac when you open the door. Ideally, the process only takes 15 minutes and leaves the interior fresh and looking like new. I'd pay 50 bucks a piece for that.

I'd agree on something for the trim. That will last through a lot of the elements for a 6-10 months without losing its look or durability.:woot:

I would like a spray on, no touch sealant. I love Optimum's Clear Seal, but I wish I could just spray on and walk away instead of spreading it on the paint.

Wow! I'm feel spoiled just thinking about it!!!
