I want to try something different this weekend . . .

norahcrv

I wish . . .
I know that if I use NXT after EX-P, it will remove the layer of EX-P I put on last weekend, but will it do anything more than that?

I really want to try NXT, but don't want to undo ALL the work I did last weekend, so I thought that if all it did was "clean" the EX-P off, then I could reapply EX-P after the NXT. And follow with subsequent (weekly) layers of EX-P til it's cool enough to break out the Natty's for the winter.

Any thoughts or ideas?

TIA

Norah

Try cleaning out your mailbox!:lmfao. Sorry but like you said it's FRIIIIIIIDAAAAY!

I say go for it. It will definitely remove some if not all of the EX-P, but that's it. I think that you will really like NXT, I certainly do.

I don't want to tell you what differences I think you might see between the two, but there are certainly some differences.

Have fun!!!!

You won't undo all of last weekends work cause you won't remove the prep work you did prior to EX-P NXT is one of those products that I keep coming back to:
It has some cleaning ability, especially when applied with the PC
It is easy to use
It leaves a wet looking shine
It smells great ... (like it should be mixed with vodka or something)

If you don't have anything else to do (like having a life) go for it!!!

Thanks for all your great answers!!

Wonder what would happen if I did mix it? J/K

Is there a life outside DC?

I am thinking about trying something new to the wife's Envoy this weekend too. I just wonder if I'll have time with the rest of my "chores" this weekend.

I usually try new products or combos on just one panel of a vehicle. That way, I'll have less to "fix" if I don't like the looks of the new stuff.

Everytime I try something new that is my plan...then something takes over and before I know it I've done two other panels just to see what they look like. Then I buy another product...and the cycle starts again. Its like a disease, LOL.

And ... sometimes you just need to do an entire side to get the true picture.
Then the look of NXT changes overnight just to make things interesting.

Boy, it looks like I'm in for a FUN weekend!!!

I think I'll start with the hood - at least that is a "defined" area.

Thanks all!!

Norah

PS - I suppose I could try it first on my "test hood", nah, that would be too sensible!!!

Now there's an offer I don't get everyday - thank goodness!!

Tell you what, if you can arrange for cooler weather, your truck to be shorter & closer, we'll talk!!

Norah

PS - oh yeah, I need more pads!!!

PPS - where have you been?

I've been up north (near Springerville) for two weeks. Vacation with the family. We spents most days Geocaching and you wouldn't believe how dirty my truck is from driving on the forrest roads :eek I'm going to have to hit it with the pressure washer tomorrow just to see the paint.

Hey, what happened to the temps while I was gone? I was enjoying 77 degrees and when I came back down this afternoon I was stunned... 109 at my house. Yow-za!

Now that I'm back, it's wax and polish time!

I didn't get any of the above done this weekend, maybe next?

Hey, is that why they called it "nxt"?

Norah

You need to make detailing a priority. J/K there is always next weekend.
