I tried something new with Spray&Wipe

I 'pre-treated' the surface with S&W before washing, and liked it! TON's of lube, and the dirt/grime/salt/goo wiped off with my wash mit with substantially less effort (i.e. - no rubbing necessary!). Has anyone else used S&W like this? I plan to continue to wash our black tahoe this way during the winter months to keep the marring/scratching minimized.

I didn't measure, but can tell you that I hardly put a dent in a 32oz spray bottle. I'd say that I misted an ounce or so on each side. I didn't use much more than I do when I QD.

Of course it had to drizzle this morning and un-do everything I did last night. I feel like the movie 'Ground Hog' day.

Correct. I rinsed down the truck first, then misted S&W on all surfaces and let it soak it while I washed down the wheels, rims, and wells.

I used S&W as a pre-soak for my QEW wash process. I also recently began mixing an ounce of S&W into the QEW buckets. It really does seem to enhance the lubricity of the wash.

:yeah

I used "several" ounces of Spray & Wipe on a VW NB, spraying 2-4 times per panel. I have tried over the past two years to get comfortable with QEW, but just can't. Using the S&W helps me to feel somewhat better.

I have added S&W to both the wash (QEW) and rinse buckets, but I'm not sure that is not a waste of product. :dunno
