I think Collinite saved my paint!!

Yesterday was my long day at school, and I reluctantly left my Escalade in a school parking lot instead of letting it sit at a meter for 7 hours at 75cents an hour. I think I'm the only one at my school that cares about their vehicle because from the looks of the other cars in the lot, I was sweatin. Anyway, 7 hours later I come back out to it and being the nut I am, I inspeced the whole thing. Sure enough, a bird did it's business on my hood. :scared: I take it over to work, wash it off, and luckily it was not etched. I was very relieved.

LS1Eddie- Glad to hear your paint is OK. I too have found Collinite pastes offer some mighty impressive protection against bird bombs.



As for the parking, in some areas you can't just feed quarters to a meter all day, it's against the law and can really cost you (and/or get your vehicle towed or booted). I used to have to move my car around during the day when I parked on the street to avoid University parking lot hazards. And you can't always do it (drop everything at the right time to feed the meter, go find a new space, etc.), even if it *is* more important to you than whatever's going on in class.
