I sold my Z28 and got a new car!

Well crap I haven't been on here in a long time...nothing new really, just busy with school. Except for 1 thing, I actually sold my Camaro (who would have thought I would do something like that?). But it gets even better...

What car did I get you ask?

A brand new 2007 Honda Civic Si coupe in Fiji Blue Pearl!

Yeah, a 10 second Z28 to a stock Honda...but hey I'm loving it. Yes, I've heard it all... "Matt, you can tell me if you're addicted to crack..." "the world is coming to an end" "hell just froze over" "are you ok?" etc etc

Looks like the Blue really stands out at nite. I am sure that this vehicle will get you around just the same as the 10 second skate. Albeit cheaper I would guess.

To bad you had the sell the old skate. but the new skate will do well in its stead.
 
Thanks! This car (6spd), although slower, is a lot more fun than my Z28 (auto). VTEC really does kick ass! lol

Also when I filled up, I got 27.1mpg city...definitely not gonna complain about that!
 
I'm glad you're happy with the new car! You definately can't complain about good gas mileage with todays prices.
 
How can someone who drove a 10 sec camaro and did all the work to it. Go and buy a import of all things. You sir are a trader.

Car looks good, but its still a honda.

Drive my old car every day with no a/c in FL, then get back to me.
 
Good choice. Not much that 200+ HP in a small package can't deal with anyway!

Lock it up good. I hear that the Si's are a hot target for punks to steal crap off of.
 
Yeah this thing sleeps in the garage every night. I do live in a pretty good area though. If I lived in Miami it would be another story!

He probably took it out to free up some hp that was being drained by running the A/C pulley.

Was thinking that but didn't know if the car didn't have it.

I'd sacrifice a few horsepower to have the ac though lol.

No the AC was broken and the entire system more or less needed to be replaced.

Though, I wouldnt have made that trade, I can see why you did it. There comes a point when you have TOO much power for the street. What fun is a street car that you cant drive on the street? I bet that thing had a pretty big stall in it that made rush hour quite the adventure. Oh well Matt, if you're happy, you made the right decision. Enjoy the new ride, but PLEASE dont put a loud exhaust on it. :D :D
