I should've used Klasse along time ago....

I just started using Klasse AIO, and I can't stop talking about it. The ease, the simplicity, the power, and most of all the results. I can't believe I was actually able to use AIO to remove wax from door handles and trim!:bow <-----That is one of the many problems I had in the past. I detailed a "91" red Ford Tempo this past Thursday with unbelievable oxidation. I washed it using QEW, and then used AIO to compound, polish, and wax it. I wish I had pictures to show the depth of shine that came from using AIO! The owner of the car owns a barber shop and he was selling the Tempo, after I detailed it, he jacked the price up a couple hundred dollars! That alone should let you know his response to the results. To top it all off.....it only took me 1 hour and 45 minutes to do the exterior and a light vacuum and wipedown of the interior!!!!!!!!!!

By all meens, get some SG and use that on top of the AIO! Nice effect from it!

Some of the guys/gals even top the SG with a wax such as S100/P21S/Souveran Paste etc for a more deeper/wetter look. Then you also have a wax "sacrificial" layer to protect the SG as well.

Obtain a good QD. I've found that Megs FD (Detailer Line) is really nice and better than Megs FI as it contains silicones to impart a deeper look. I'm waiting for my gallon of Clearkote QS as I hear this is a really great QD for waxes.

Agree on Klasse. I just sent a PM to some folks on the same thing. Takes me about 2 weeks to get ready for a show and this time I'm going with 3M Fine Cut, Klasse Twins with P21 on top.

Seems to offer best of both worlds...the polys give you long term protection and the P21 gives the depth and gloss that only a carb can. Even if the P21 wears out after 4-6 washes, it can be re-applied as quickly as a QD....

I just now ordered Clearkote Vanilla Moose too! I'll get back with the results. I use Mother's Showtime QD also in between details...works great. I'll give the Megs FD a go this upcoming week. If you haven't realized it by now...I'm a detailing product freak. I have so much in stock I could open up a store. I have a mobile detailing business, and it pays though to have so much variety of products giving that everyone's vehicle is different and needs different care.

I thought FI was Klasse safe - no silicones or carnuba...at least that is what it says in the famous Klasse thread...

Here is a quote...

"You will also need some no-wax/no-silicone detailing spray, such as Meguiar's Final Inspection for $6. This is used in between Sealant Glaze layers. If your wallet doesn't mind, also get some Eimann Fabrik Clear Pearl Instant Detail Spray for $15. This contains carnauba, so you'd only use this after you've finished your Klasse treatment. Using it between Klasse SG layers may cause problems with bonding. Since it contains wax, it will help rejuvenate your wax (or if you don't add a layer of Biltz on top, it just richens the shine that the Klasse gives). "

ajbarnes,

Just to add some fuel to the fire...If you like AIO by itself, you'll be speechless after buffing out your first coat of SG. It's not a subtle improvement; more like "Holy s**t!"

I tried this combo for the first time in May on my white Saab. The kicker came after topping it off with a coat of Pinnacle Paste Glaz (recommended for light colors...who am I to argue?). I was working in my garage under a 150 watt ceiling bulb. Suddenly, while buffing the hood, I was presented with the sight of the bulb in full 3D embedded under the surface of the hood.

Love these space-age polish/waxes!

Greg

PS: Pinnacle Crystal Mist is a pretty decent restorative to the Paste Glaz, IMHO.
