I got my windshield replaced today and all seemed well until I got home. I noticed something was funny with the molding around the glass. It appeared to have a large gap on the sides going up the A Pillar. It almost looks like the glasa\s sunk down and isn't in the "grove" in the weatherstrip. Here are some pictures of what I'm talking about.

Thanks for any help!

This is on a 98 Honda Civic by the way.

No wind noise, I'm scared to do my favorite thing..wash my car :-(

I don't want water all inside.

If the polyura.....whatever didnt fully dry, then when you were driving home, every stop along the way would have pushed the windshield done lower and lower.

They didn't tape it very long. Also from the time they started to the time I drove home was about 4 hours. I think they rushed it also.

I'd ask for it to be redone. I'm almost positive that's going to leak. I recently got my windshield replaced and had a kind if similar experience (they broke some of the tabs that hold it in), luckily I saw them do it or I never would have known. Anyway I called their office and they had someone else do it again.

Agreed, get a replacement. Water is very good at finding even the smallest of gaps and something like the hole you have is not going to be helpful
