I have secured a regular client who owns a 05 Range Rover. The inside of the vehicle is that real light cream color and noticed that there were dirty finger marks on the dash I could not get out. I lightened them, but I want to get them out. What works and is safe to use?

I also noticed on the same vehicle, finger prints on the rear passenger side outside trim molding. I can get them off. The trim is black plastic (or at least it seems to be plastic). What works and is safe to use?

Thanks for the advice/help.

Did you try a diluted APC for the dash marks?

You should be ok using a properly diluted APC......Super Clean (no longer made by Castrol) has worked for me in the past.....Now that I think about it, I dont have any APC !!

Off topic any alternative to castrol's super clean? I though I sow some at autozone last week doing my shopping. My dad loves it, works grate as a water spot remover of the cement sidewalks :woohoo:

TOL makes a good product for cleaning vinyl and plastic called Deep Down. It can be used full strength to remove scuff marks and such. It can also be dilluted for lighter cleaning of leather etc. I find a damp MF is the best tool to remove stubborn spots when combined with a product like Deep Down.
