I did my first machine polish a couples days ago and I used the sfx2 polish and pad on my white escort. It took out the swirls but I need something stronger to remove the scratches that are left. What is a good step up from the sfx that will remove the scratches? Do I need to get stronger polishes and pads or just one?

I need a polish to remove scratches

Consider using 4000 grit sandpaper. It will let you focus on the deeper scratches and control the amount of clear removed very carefully and finely. The sanding marks it leaces will come out via PC.
