Hey Carl, welcome to Autopia



I use ClearKote products if I am doing a car in the sun. Clearkotes Vanilla Moose (VM) is a great product that gives the paint a deep gloss, decent protection but is not a powerful cleaner, at least in removing oxidation, fallout or scratches.



I am not sure what paint cleaner you can use in the sun but you may be able to get away with claying and some VM and be done with it. Others might be able to suggest a cleaner to use in the sun.

Ive used AIO in the sun with great luck and no problem....
