I need a good Car Vacuum

My Vacuum broke so I need to pick up a new one. What are your recommendations for a good car vacuum to use when detailing?

I've had great luck with my 6.0hp Craftsmen. It came with all the attachments and converts into a leaf blower, so you can use it to dry the cars, too.



It is several years old now, and I think I paid about $120 for it. The newer model is 6.5hp I think.

Although I find a good wet/dry vac is an essential tool in any detailing arsenal, I highly recommend the Metro Vac. It is a little pricey, but, just the size of this vacuum makes the vacuuming process so much easier. Talk about power, the Metro is the most powerful vacuum I have ever used.

I got a nice one at home depot small has good power and got a detail package ,also it can vac and be used as a blower also.Nice long hose and long crevice attachment 2 burshes i think it cost me about 40 bux or so then the detail extras was another 20 or so not sure now. the cobra has been sold to a guy in AZ.

I love my rigid. I found it onsale at Home Depot for about 50$. Makes quick work of vac'ing a vehicle.

Unless I'm using the extractor, for 99% of my detailing use I use an old canister vacuum (demoted from household duty). My Craftsman wet/dry just sits there unused.
