I met Adam today.

I guess one of my bosses contacted Adam's people or the other way around to have the resident paintwork guy I work with do some sort of infomercial for Adam's products.

I was the only person of the whole group who know who Adam was.

Anyway, long story short, we met him today and he's a cool guy. It was refreshing to talk to someone at work who actually knew about my kind of detailing.

I guess we're shooting tomorrow, and hopefully I can tag along.

Adam- if you're reading, this is G.A. I'm the young kid you met today :p

Edit- This is Adam, of Adam's Polishes.

He lives in CA, but came out to the right [correct] coast to do some business.

I work for MSAB. Maguiar and Sons Auto Brokerage. Where I bought the Lexo.

Holy crap! The rumor was Adam took you back to CA to be his detailing slave. Glad that wasn't true :grinno:

So you guys noticed I was gone?

Adam gave me his card and told me to e-mail him. What should I say?

Your absence from chat was noted. We thought perhaps you had expired from aircraft paint stripper fumes (as well as the aforementioned abduction scenario). What should you say? If it was me, I would say that "we won't be taking any warm showers together", but that's just me.

well, you can start by saying:

"Hey Adam, you gave me a card and said to email you, so I am.

Can you give me steep discounts or product to try" ?

If that doesn't produce desired results, you may not have to worry what to say in the future.
