Geez Ron ... What a lucky break his car was painted blue or that "Blue Magic" remedy would have never worked!

wow...let us know once(if) a logical explanation as to how that metal polish works on paint emerges .

Throw at em that the solvents in the metal polish with cause paint swelling and for a short time reduce the swirls.....

Hey, I`m just as stupid! I made this "mistake" of polishing some clear-coated satin aluminum wheels (Unbeknownst to me) with Blue Magic Metal Polish on a (brand new) GMC truck. Luckily, I did not hand-rub too hard, but I am sure I induced some micro-marring. Lesson learned?; ASK what type of finish is on a wheel. Chances are, unless its chromed or highly polished aluminum, it`s clear-coated, which does NOT require the use of a metal polish. Treat it just like a painted surface (IE , paint polish and follow with wax/sealant/coating).

Joe Torbati once said that if you haven`t made mistakes, you haven`t really detailed much. I agree (I have made a ton of em)
