I like the warmth of carnauba...

basswood

Atlanta
2007 Jag XK Ebony.

Started with Migliore Citro Shampoo. Watched the video - not much suds and it left a film all over the car. Is that normal? However the previous lsp seemed to be taken off.

IronX on the car and wheels. Can't see anything on a black car but it worked as advertised on the wheels so I'll assume it did the same on the paint.

Clayed the car.

CarPro Eraser.

Sonax Perfect Finish 4/6 (thanks Dan F.) with LC green pad on a 7424XP.

Topped with Duragloss TPP 105.
I thought that the 105 was a cleaner/polisher when I bought it but after some research I find that it is simply a synthetic polymer.

It looks fine but I would like to override it with carnauba to hopefully add some depth and warmth.

I have Collonite 845, P21S and BF BlackIce.

Your suggestions are, as always, most appreciated.

Warmest regards,
Tom

Tom -
I just bet your Jag-u-ar (as properly pronounced in the UK Homeland) is Stunning !

I just know that the Blackfire Black Ice would have to totally turn that beautiful work of automotive art into something that is really, really, beautiful !!

I was around when those first guys invented that Line and these products have never failed to amaze..

Congratulations on completing this project !!! I remember when you first came on the Forum, asking for advice...

Now look at you ! Really proud of you, Tom !

I am humbled by that statement.

Many have helped and this is why this forum is an amateur's dream.

I have read your
detailed responses to others as well as to me. How you find the time to do this is beyond my comprehension.

BFBI works for me. It goes on tomorrow.

PM me your address. I have basically full bottles of Optimum Hyper Compound and Optmum Hyper Polish that I'll send you. If I remember correctly you are big on those. They did not work for this amateur slug.

Best,
Tom
