I knew there was a reason to keep the original PC box and sanding disc!

I don't know if any of you are/were involved in DECA (Distributive Education Club of America) but tomorrow I am doing a selling project for my marketing class. I have to set up a roll playing situatuion where I sell X product to another student. Anyone wanna guess what I'll be selling?

I also have to use suggestive selling, which is getting the customer to buy accessories for the product after they agree to buy the product, but before checkout. I think a few Sonus and LC pads with a Velcro flex plate will work very well. :D

Anyone know of anything besides the typical "won't burn paint, orbital not circular motion" speech I could use?

BTW, in my DECA district compettition last Thursday I also did selling. I took first place in my district and I'm heading to state, BABY! :bounce :bounce

Well, you have to include the labor-saving aspect, of course. The "won't burn, orbital motion" needs to be used as a sales pitch against a rotary, when you're describing why your customer should pick THIS labor saving device over that.

Hey Mongoose,

You could always rely on the fact that you will not break a sweat when using the PC (compared to hand polishing/waxing) and your arm will not feel like rubber after a 6-hour autopian detail session. Just my two cents.

/\ Haha. Good idea. I'm allowed to pitch the sale to any student I'd like to. The kid I have in mind is a sophomore with a 2005 Inifiniti G35 Coupe 6MT. <Yeah, his daddy's happy.

Anyway, he's a car guy and he'll appreciate it.

Wait a minnit, he's a sophomore, in HIGH SCHOOL? And he has a 2005 Infiniti? I think I missed that part of my education.

I guess he's one of the older sophomores as he just turned 16.

Wanna get sicker? They traded in his 2004 for the 2005 a few months ago because he didn't like the Nav system, the '05 has different wheels, and is up like 15 horsepower. Dad paid mostly in cash from what he's said.

He's relatively down to earth though. He's involved in all the extracurricular activities in school and holds an office in DECA. He'll be going somewhere in a few years, no doubt.

Me too, I think I missed a vital chunk of it! Lemme return my diploma, I'll re-enroll as a sophomore and let them give me an '05 G35. Makes me feel like I didn't get a complete education...
