i have some questions about 4* UPP and armor all

I have a white car and I have about two coats of Four Stars UPP on it ,and iwas planning to apply a third coat in a couple of weeks. After that I was wondering if it would be better to continue layering it or apply a wax over it. The only two waxes I have without cleaners in them are PBW's Natty's paste wax and Meg's #26 and right now I don't think I want to buy anymore waxes so it will be one or the other if waxing would be the way to go.

Secondly about a week ago when I detailed my dad's Nissan Quest I used Meg's ColorX to act as the cleaner before I applied UPP. But it seems like the finish isn't as slick as my car. It's four years old but I clayed about a month ago and polished before I applied ColorX so I was wondering if it is because of the ColorX?

OK lastly I wanted to use Armor All either the original or detailers formula for my tires because I have been using Meg's Tech Protectant and like its high gloss but it slings all over the car. So I wanted to ask if Armor All slings? Sorry for the long post.

PLEASE use correct capitalization, punctuation, and paragraphs. You will get more responses if your post isn't a pain to read.

I have UPPx3 on my car + Pinnacle Paste Glaz. The car looks better with the PG but also looked awesome with just the UPP. It was a little slicker with just the UPP, but not by much.

I haven't tried Natty's yet, but I would guess that it would look great over UPP.

Nissan Quest - Did you clay the Quest? If not, that may be the reason it isn't as smooth. Also, ColorX might just not make the surface as smooth as other cleaners/polishes. Not all cleaners and polishes are created equal.

NXT TP: I've been using the NXT TP for a while now on my tires. You won't get any sling if you wipe the excess off the tire before you drive it. You can let it sit on the tire for as long as you want, but wipe it off before you drive. You won't have any sling, and you won't have any more oil slicks running down the driveway on the next wash. That stuff is horrible in that respect.

I haven't tried Armor All, so I cannot comment on that.

For tires I like products that dry quick like z16. Many other products like stoners spray and armor all I like too but you need to apply when you know your not driving your car anymore for that day, so they can dry adequetly (dang my spelling is getting bad). I think armor all (original formula) also dries relitively fast but you want to put a couple of coats. I find if you wipe off the tire it wont last very long. The other armor all just for tires (the big clear bottle) is also good stuff but I let that dry overnight and I haven't had any slinging.

If you are talking about the Armor All tire foams, I swear by them. They will dry pretty fast, but if you don't let it dry, if you have cleaned the tires first, any sling won't stain or damage anything, in my experience.

Heh heh, "Spelling Police" :xyxthumbs Grammar and spelling *do matter ;)

Anyhow...

I don't top my UPP as I believe the slickness helps prevent wash-induced marring. And I like its look just fine as-is on the vehicle I use it on (other vehicles might be a different story).

I too like the Z16. I wipe it on with a tire swipe or sponge and wipe off any excess with a lint-free cloth. Get the excess off and you shouldn't get sling. If you do, I'd switch products.
