Nice pics, also not a huge Vette fan. ZR1's are definitely collectables. Personally, I like the '78 Pace Cars for some reason. :rolleyes:

Jeepers, you guys have the same taste as me. Ever since I wanted a car, the 79 Vette was my first. I loved it to death for around 6 years, looked on the internet everyday I could for more info, prices, locations and so forth. I still like them alot and I would love to have (motor swap though).



This is the timeline of cars I have feel in love with:



1978/1979 Pace car

1996 Spec Edition (silver on black)

199x Corvett Grand Sport

199x ZR1's (all early to mid 90's)

2002 ZO6 (that didn't last long $$$)

1999 Camaro SS (the one I own)



I still love the wedge shaped 1995 Vettes, I always have and always will, to me, the ZR1 just made an awesome car even better. I would love to get my hands on one of those man.... man, now you got me thinking about them. If I can ever get a house the first thing I want to do is put money into my Camaro and pick up a Vette or two. All in time, just got to wait.



I love Corvettes.

Lotus .......... grr, thanks for reminding me. I wonder how I could mix those two up. Guess it's been all that time my mind has been away from Corvettes and all around Camaro's.



I like Lotus a little less than Vette's but they are #2 on my list. The twin turbo Espirit V8 is something else I tell you.
 
Actually the people over at corvetteforum.com say they get an average of 20mpg around town and 24-25mpg on the hiway. Not bad at all for over 400hp :)
