So far my front bumper is going to need some serious touching up and my plasti-dipped grille is chipped up from the rock. So far this year I've been through the touchless 10 times and desalt 5 times. Estimated $150 in 3 months. I give up! I have been to Upstate New York several times this winter for work, so atleast I've seen where these cars rust and can be proactive about it (I hope that guy still isn't mad at me for crawling under his car, lol....). It hasn't seen winter weather since it was new on Long Island, NY.

The brine chemical stuff some states are putting down is much worse than salt. I guess they think salt isnt bad enough? I dont know if they are trying to get the older vehicles off the road or what?

.Time for me to move to the Caribbean just can't talk my wife in to it yet

You know there are places in the US that don't get snow? Moving out of the country because of winter seems extreme, unless of course you live in Canada.

it did get cold here, so equator works for me,,,.

don't sweat the snow, pretty soon people will be complaining about pollen... (oh yeah, I am right now)

They've been using just rock salt around town, but in Washington Co Maryland I swear they are using something liquid. It's awful! I know driving back from Altoona yesterday they were liquid prepping I-99.
