Not sure on the year, but it's a Volvo S40 Turbo. Owned by my buddies fiance. I was specifically told not to touch the rims as they are getting replaced, so, I just washed them, no clay or anything.
The car was/is in BAD shape, heavily swirled, scratched, heavy contaminants all over, possible partial repaint, and sanding marks in random spots. He told me not to do any correction, just do a wash/wax, I tried to talk him into getting the swirls out, he wasn't havin' it, LOL, so there was no polishing step.
The CG "ONE", blew me away, as a one step spray product, I couldn't believe the amount of swirls that just simply "wipe away" when using this stuff. Plus you can tell it leaves something very slick, and thick on the car. So I put this on twice.
As this is my first time really keeping on top of pictures during, I didn't take too many good ones, and yes, I realize I blocked one picture of the plate, and not the rest, after I did that one, my budy started laughing at me for it, so, I didn't do the rest. She is from Mass, and he lives here, she recently moved to Cali, so thats why she has a Mass plate.
Process.....
Megs Gold Class/Dawn wash
Clay with Megs clay (went through two bars, yuk!)
Megs Insane shine on tires/wheel wells
Eagle One NevRDull on exhaust pipe
Wipedown with Chemical Guys "ONE" paint/glass/trim/lights (WOW!!)X2
And thats all!!!!! Check out the pics.......they speak volumes.
Before wash....
After wash/clay, wheels/tires/wells done
After two coats of CG "ONE"
I wish I had taken befores of the exhaust.......GROSS!!!
Sorry about the lack of proper closeups before of the swirls, since I wasn't doing correction, I didn't bother. But I didn't expect so many to vanish after the CG "ONE".
EDIT: Found an OK pic of the tailpipe before...
