I got bumper inserts...whats the quickest wax to strip wax off of the bumper?

The inserts are 3M adhesive backed....I have to stip the wax off....what can I use around the house....I don't have mineral sprits(?) or anything like that. I was thinking gas or Goo Gone?????

Isn't Dawn recomended if you need to remove wax (but not to use that often)?
