Anyone have a clue as to why these are not being sold in the U.S.A. right now? Seems we are always getting the screw jobs latley when it comes to the new product market.

I talked to the 3M guys at the MTE this year. They did not give a reson as to why they don't sell them here. I told them that many people are interested in them right now. They are supposed to call me in regards to this.

Pro Wax makes similar 8 inch waffle foam pads. I use them and they are excellent.

Whats the difference in these compared to the black and white?

Yes I used the 8" version of this pad. You should be able to find them in most auto paint supplier stores. These and the 3M Ultrafina polish are a match made in heaven.

Can someone compare these to other finishing pads, Megs tan, LC blue and LC red?

3M says the blue are a polishing pad, the 3M black would be a finishing pad.



I can finish down very easy with the 3M blue on a soft black lexus clear and ultrafina. On the same finish they will remove the wool effect that is left from edge yellow and Presta 1500 polish.



Going to yellow wool and 3M ECC, requires another step before the 3M blue and ultrafina.
