Silver Car Fan
I finally got to detail the Solara again yesterday...it was a great day to be outside!
I washed with Adam's car wash (great suds, slickness wasn't up to Perls though), clayed with Poorboy's clay (S&W was lube), applied AIO via PC with a Propel polishing pad & then the "new & improved" EX-P (aka EX-P+) by PC with a Propel finishing pad.
The new EX-P is an improvement on a product that I really liked...now I love it. It is very slick and really brings out the flake. The reflections are outstanding (IMHO) for silver. I think the new version of EX-P works better with AIO with the old version, however some of the improvement may be due to the improvement of my detailing skills.
There are no before pics...the car wasn't in bad shape before, but it hadn't been fully detailed since Thanksgiving. BTW, water was still beading nicely from VM + EX-Px2 (October) + EX-P+ (Thanksgiving) and the car sits outside 24x7.
