Sprayed it down with Gunk Engine Brite, let it sit, agitated with a brush, wiped all the dust and dirt off with a wet sponge, held my breath, hosed it down real good, then sprayed CD-2 Engine Detailer on it.

Perfect...smerfect!!! Looks good. Is this your first attempt at an engine workover? I applaud your efforts. I am not willing to put my detail skills to the test on an engine that is running before I start. Am always worried that I will mess something up. That is why I only use a detail spray and wipe with a MF towels.

Okay what you want to do is inquire about jdm type r XSi motor with a lsd tranny but if you want power right away but youll pay for it but its stock is a subaru wrx sti rally motor or a Evo motor member you need a tranny ...wait a mintue(thinking-scratching head) this is not a upgrade/performance forum its a detail forum disregard my post hehe!

engine bay looks good .. Awesome Job!!

Gives you quite sense of satisfaction that you could accomplish that, doesn't it?
FWIW, When I start on an older car that hasn't had any care, I try to make it just a little better every time I work on it. Next time you can catch the loose ends you missed, couldn't reach or didn't realize you could improve. The battery area can be cleaned with some baking soda for instance.

:bigups :bigups :bigups Sure was a lotta work.
I agree with the other posters you did a great job ..

OK you can Exhale Now :stuart: ..

what a great job!! i think a clean engine makes the car look great when displaying. don't worry too much. as long as you don't spray too hard on the plug wires or altenator you can't do too much damage to the engine, they are very well sealed.
