I made a huge mistake, I detailed my sister's 94 Black mercedes.I used cma lambswool,Pc and DACP cause it has a lot of big swirls. To make the story short I thought im doing good but after looking the hood under the sunlight I noticed that i created more swirls form using the wool pad.I guess i didn't work the DACP the why it should be.My question is how do i remove the swirls that i created? Can i used Yellow pad and DACP or 3m PI rubbing compound fine cut?Any comments will be appreicated.

Megs Purple Pad and DACP run at about 4 or 5 on the PC should remove all the marks.

I just did this exact service on a black jeep last week.

Someone had used a wool pad and made a mess, it came out great.

I would try a yellow pad and DACP.

Wool pads are for leveling paint. They are very agressive and will leave swirls, but light swirls that you should be able to remove with a cutting or polishing pad and some DACP, and then #9 if still necessary.
