What's your application method?? Mainly meaning, when you hit it to activate are you hitting with just a jet from the hose or do you prefer the PW?
 
I've used both....whatever method, do one panel at a time (mist on sealant, blast it with water), and hit the panel with max flow immediately after misting on the Hydro2.
 
I'd use the power washer unless you have some really good water pressure. It takes a pretty hard blast to get the full potential out of it. I also highly suggest using it in a very shady area, or even better on a rainy day. This stuff doesn't play well in the sun at all.
 
Both the Pressure Washer & Hose have worked great for application in my experience. Today I applied HydrO2 with the hose and did not experience and issues.

This is the way I was looking at it too. But I thought I read somewhere that blasting it with the pw may cause streaks by launching it to other panels etc.. Thank you for the great advice about the shade as well. Rainy day car washing sounds interesting.

I always mist on and then blast with a PW immediately. I goes as far as to spray all other surrounding panels as well to minimize the possibility of streaking.

If this was a 2 man job I can't imagine how fast you could do a car. Prolly only 30 seconds. Just enough time to spray and shoot.

Been there before, definitely around 30 seconds :D

Use a pressure washer, far less chance of streaking. Also make sure it's out of sunlight.
 
As noted, for best results, you want to spray it almost immediately after applicaiton. I would say you have a 30 second window. I have done both (with and without a pressure washer) and believe that as long as you spray it quickly (with enough force) it doesn't really matter.
 
I've tried Hydro on 3 different vehicles. I found diluting 4:1, then 1-2 sprays with a very fine mist per panel. I would then hit it with a pressure washer (1900 PSI). I do it within 15 seconds and make sure I don't let it sit on the panel too long. I don't really have a shaded area so I can only do it in sunlight or on overcast days.

Tricks for working in the sun, spray down the panel with a lot of water to cool it off before spraying Hyrdo on. Then immediatly after spraying use a pw to rinse off. You will see the product turn a little white as it spreads over the panel, then instantly it will start beeding water like crazy. Work panel by panel.

1: spray a clean panel with water to cool off
2: spray Hyrdo (1-2 sprays per panel)
3: rinse with a decent pressure washer
4: repeat for the next panel

One thing I found: Make sure when your rinsing that you also do the panels beside where you just sprayed (this stuff spreads quickly and you don't want it to dry).

Durability: about 2 months in Canada here with warm weather and a bit or a rain every now and then. There is visible water beeding for this period.

Great product, works quickly especially compared to applying a typical wax or sealant by hand of by machine.
