Husky Shop Seat on clearance at HD

I was browsing the tool section of my favorite home improvement store and found this shop seat on clearance.

Normally $29.97. I already used it on the Hyunday Tucson detail and it was the best $7.53 I've ever spent. It made polishing the lower sections of the car easier and applying tire dressing was a breeze.
 
$7.53! Great deal. I need to hit HD anyway - thanks for the heads up Vega!

Did you look inside the store or look online? They were still priced $29 online for my local store. I was going to place an order online for LED bulbs and this seat but decided to just walk in the store to pick everything up. I always end up aimlessly walking around HD anyways lol. I'm glad I decided to shop around to find these.

Lol I actually did buy two of them because I knew my friend would want one (and he did). I'll go tomorrow and buy the rest but I'd be surprised if there are any left. There were three when I was there and took two of them, unless they have more in the back. Shipping wouldn't be too bad I think with an order. We'll find out tomorrow...
 
Good news fellas and ladies. I went back to HD today to pickup a second Werner platform and the last Shop Seat was still sitting on the shelf! The sticker on the box shows $28 but it was marked as $7.53 on the shelf. I asked someone if they had anymore in the back and they scanned the product and told me I had the last one.

Timing is everything ....

I purchased a similar (if not identical) seat from Harbor Freight for $19.99. Vega's comments about polishing lower sections of the are an understatement. I have arthritic knees, and I wish I picked one of these up ages ago.

Another nice feature is the lower tray. It's a very convenient place to keep your product and microfibers off the ground while you're working.
 
Vega I got the same Platform from Werner that you under the seat love it works great much better than a steep stool or ladder. Found few cheaper but went with Werner as I trust their quality for the extra 20$.
 
Guys, if the Husky was on clearance at my local store, would it show that on-line or do I have to travel to the store to find out? My local store shows (on-line) the $29 price.

Same here--shows $29 price on line with 2 in stock--went to the store and there were 3 but still at $29. I noticed that my store now has a dedicated Automotive section which is new. Perhaps Vega's store was doing away with Automotive.

Online my price showed $29. I was shopping for LED bulbs and almost placed an order online. When I went into the store I saw the $7 price tag. If I were you I'd stop by and take a look if it's not out of your way.

Yep mine has a dedicated automotive section but I don't think they're closing it. Only this item was on clearance.
