Sometimes you get a detail where the owner has specific requests to improve the car'sappearance in order to sell.
On a small budget, and extremely tight time frame (this was done before I went to work one morning this week), you have to improve the appearance of a car as best you can.
The car:
No surprises! SEAT Leon. The problem?
these:
As the car was fresh from the nearest jet wash I dried, and removed any missed dirt before inspecting the condidtion of the paint. Quick discussion with the owner regarding my plan, and time to get on. Whilst the owner used a wheel brush and sponge to clean the alloys properly, I used the PC, a polishing pad and home made brew to 'improve the car'. The aim being to clean and mask the swirling as best we could. There was also holograming on one side from a recent bodyshop visit
Having completed the whole car, wiped off, I then applied a layer of DP Max Wax, Megs natural shine to the plastics, and Armor All Endurance Tyre Shine to the treads.
The end result?
the real sicking bit for me as a detailer, these shots show some of the potential of this paintwork:
and just to show there is nothing to hide, here are the comparison shots for the swirling,

Personally, even tho seeing a car drive away from me still wearing swirls, I was pleased with the improvements made in an hour and a quarter!
