Im new to the forums here but not new to detailing. I'm seventeen and have been detailing for 3 years. I work at a body shop which specializes in mercedes benz(Auto Collision Specialists - CELETTE Equipment Collision Specialist, Maryland,) and works on tons of high end cars. We have a 2 bay building with all the works air, steam cleaner, extractor, multiple buffers orbital and rotary. you name it we've got it. Since it is a body shop we do a lot of denibbing(removing dirt from new paint)which requires lots of wetsanding. Im trying to get these cars swirl free as possible and maybe you guys can help. We also do general detail work and clean every customer car before delivery. We use many "Car Brite", Meguiar's and 3m products.
I own a 1989 Bmw 325i which ive been working on and hope you guys will learn to love the older style. Its single stage Zinnoberot(Red) with a nearly flawless interior. Ill post pics when i have enough posts.
I hope I can help any of you become better detailers and you will help me.
