How to wash sheepskin mit?

I just used my Eurow sheepskin wash mit for the first time today, and forgot to read the washing recommendations. What's the best way to wash one of these suckers?

Here is what it says on the package.

After use, wash in mild soap, air dry out of direct sunlight.

I just rinse it off in the bathtub and set it on a towel rack to let it dry.

I machine wash my sheepskin mitts in the washing machine, then dry in the dryer on low heat. They come out like new everytime. No problems what so ever.

Same here, the get washed with the MFs and pads. I used to use Tide but now I use Der Wunder Wash from the Autopia store.

I wash my Eurow mitt with my mf towels in the washing machine using Micro Pak MF Detergent and hang on a hook to dry.

wash (i use liquid tide) in the washing machine on the gentle & cold setting and when done, hang dry (make sure to open the cuff so air can get in to dry the inside of the mitt or you can put it in the dryer on the lowest setting). i've had the same mitt for over 4 months, and it still looks and feels the same as when i got it! :up

What is the best sheepskin mit to buy and from what vendor? I have had problems with sheepskin mits tearing, shedding, and getting holes even after a few washes.

Where does everyone buy from?

I use the finest ones money can buy.........at Wal-Mart. Seriously, I don't spend too much on wash mitts, as regardless of where I buy them from, they never seem to last too long. I figure that I'd rather use WM ones, and demote 'em to rim duty when they start to look a lil ratty, than buy some expensive mitt that I felt compelled to use long past its prime.

I just wash mine by hand with woolite and place over an empty small plastic coke bottle to maintain it's shape and leave to dry to standing. Works fine for me.
