I finally get some Meg's Hand Polish to use on my car...however I didn't have any instruction on how to use it....Should I apply and wait for it to dry/haze or just buff it right away??

Thanks in advance...

Thanks to Mosca for sending me some sample of Meg's Hand Polish!! :bounce

Scottwax explained how he uses the product in one of his post.

Scottwax:

I've never used a buffer at all. I see no need for one, other than time, and that is often negated by cleanup and swirl removal. I have brought back some pretty rough paint by hand, usually with Meguiars Dual Action Cleaner/Polish followed by Swirl Free Polish, Hand Polish, then #26 wax.

Technique is pretty important with hand use also (ew, that can be taken so many ways ). I use foam hand pads for light polishes and wax, and terry cloth towels folded into 1/8s (and sides changed after each panel) for stronger polishs/cleaners. Just like with a buffer, you have to work the product until nearly clear and dry.

With Hand Polish, I use a foam hand applicator and work it into the paint but it won't break down and look nearly clear and dry the way that SFP or DACP will. I go over the whole car, applying a thin layer, then go back over the car with a microfiber towel and remove the excess. It comes of noticably more easily than #7, even though it seems to have at least as high an oil content.

It does leave a very wet looking finish on properly prepared surfaces.

Thanks for the tip!!! I applied hand polish on the hood and fender on my car and topped it with a coat of s100.

I won't be able to see the "true" results until tomorrow since my garage is pretty dark.....It does come off much easier compared to #7 show car glaze....
