How to strip LSP from coating?

Alright so I just coated my car with PBL v2 over the weekend and got to thinking... I chose PBL because you can wax on top of it for improved look and also to be able to satisfy that "need" to do something to your car.

However, with products like the coating booster- which I purchased- how do you strip the wax a few months down the road to be able to apply the booster? Obviously, if there's remnants of wax you can't apply the booster. Obviously you can't clay and polish, like you would often do after stripping a normal LSP.

Is the answer here to use the surface cleansing polish/lotion from PBL to ensure a pure surface? Just thinking here because after another coat of PBL v2, I'll want to wax on top. But after winter, I'll want to apply the booster and I just want to be properly prepared. Thanks.

Im guessing a 3:1 of OPC would do the trick?
Depends on the lsp. Some waxes come right off with a 5:1 APC while some sealants can stand up to any APC. I would just recommend doing test spots with different dilutions and see what works for that lsp. Also CarPro Reset can strip some lsp's too just by washing with it.

If you have Meguiar's D114 you can mix some up at 6:1. It will strip a wax and should also remove an old LSP.

Or you could use:
[h=1]Klean-Strip Prep-All Wax & Grease Remover[/h]

  • General purpose wax and grease remover for use prior to sanding and priming.
  • Works on metal, plastic and fiberglass
  • Removes wax, grease, tar, tree sap and road film.
  • Available Sizes: 1 gallon or 13.5 oz Aerosol Can

You can use the PBL Booster on top of the Synergy wax, which is applied on top of the PBL Paint coating. However, that wax has the same glass nano particles in it as the coating and I assume the Booster.

The Synergy wax is expensive, but I have really enjoyed using it. It has lasted since the weekend before Memorial Day on my DD with nothing but Rest or Griot's car shampoo. It is a very tough wax. It could probably give the Colli's and FK1000p stiff competition on durability.

That synergy wax sounds amazing but I'll never be able to spend $200 on wax. I've got 915 and Fuzion(from that crazy sale a while back). Still wanna put 2 more coats of the v2 on before I top with wax. Just so rainy here right now, not sure when I'll be able to do it. I got it coated just in time, in the short window of no rain before all this started.
