How to restore car plastic (radio face) - video :)

Not all of us have protective covers and as life would have it, we naturally get scratches on our radio face.

Here's how I restored the radio face:

First, a 50/50 picture showing the left side (untreated) and the right side (corrected).

Note: Don't do this if you have a coated plastic piece.

Very nice, simple enough to do and a product thats easy enough to find, thanks!

Another good tape to use is 3m's low density tape for multi surfaces doesnt leave any residue if you leave tape on a project for a few days, learned that the hard way on a boat even with that green tape.

its part number #2080 its designed for delicate surfaces. I once learned the hard way, 6 rolls of regular 3m painters tape stuck to a boat after having it on for several days while we worked on a big teak job. Took for ever to get all residue and lift tape, a guy in the yard introduced me to this stuff.

yeah, i use it on cars too only tape i buy now just to be safe.
