I know this is kinda dumb but I can't figure out what to use. I have polished wheels with simulated bead locks on my truck and the bolts tend to corrode/rust from salt really fast. I've been putting vasoline on them all winter to help prevent this and well its kinda worked. Anyways teh vasoline has slong off each bolt and built up on the tire and now its on there like tar. I tried sprayin a lil degreaser on it but that didn't do much and then some got on my polished wheels and left a few small white spots. Any suggestions on what may help? Scrubbing does very little haha.

Xylene will dissolve the vasoline and not harm your rims. Xylene is a great product to remove old tire dressings that has immigrated into the rubber also.

Must be used in well ventilated area - outdoors. :usa

I believe places like Lowes/Home Depot should have some in their paint dept.

I get mind from the laboratory at the hospital I work at.

You sould not need more than 4 - 8 oz to do 4 car/truck tires.

Remember the fumes are quite pungent and extremely volatile. Work outdoors!!!!
