I have some pics of the recent details i did. I want to post the pictures, but how do i post more than one pic in the same thread? I know i hit browse and find the pic,but it only uploads one. how do i upload numerous?

I'm having a problem too :(

I'm having trouble posting pics just from my gallery, everytime I try it just shows the url, I follow the instruction for making an image, make sure not to include spaces, still nothing

Hope someone can help both of us out

You have to put each seperate url in the post.

It goes like this

[ img] [ /img]

[ img] [ /img]

[ img] [ /img]

and enter your url in the middle and there are no spaces in the img tags.

I know, I am trying to type it out and it thinks I am really trying to put pictures in. It's confusing to explain without being shown.

You guys need to have these pictures uploaded to an online gallery like the one Autopia provides for you.

Zane O I do exactly that and no go  I hate to have to resort to links others would have to click on

For example here's what I get when I try using that img in brackets code: :(

showphoto.php

BillD,

You tried to use the URL of the gallery page in the IMG tag rather than the URL of the gallery picture. Open the gallery, and right click on the photo you want to post. Pick "Properties" from the pop-up menu. Highlight and copy the address (URL) from the window that appears. Now, in the post that you're trying to compose, use the following code:

i]

For the picture you tried to post, the image tag should look like this:

Hey Tort,

Thanks very much! I was unaware of the procedure involving right clicking and going to properties in order for the img to work correctly. :bow

Now, (quaman's ? ) how do we upload more than one pic in a post from our computer?

Bill D,

You can only have one attachment per post. However, if you upload the pics to the Autopia gallery, then you can simply use the technique I described multiple times in the same post (i.e., use the IMG tag and the URL of a "hosted" pic) to include multiple pics.

Just to further add some info for posting pics, you can paste the thumbnail version of the picture from the gallery by right clicking on it's property tab and copying the url to your post with the img tabs, or you can open the picture up to the gallery view and do the same to get a larger picture to copy into a post, or even go to the largest view by clicking on the gallery picture one more time and then copying the property url of that picture. Whichever picture you copy the url from is the size you will get in your post.

:D

Thanks Bill. It's a fun summer time car. Problem is, I have a daughter 17 and a son 19 and they drive it more than I do. The things we do for our kids.:D

I tried to right click on my photos but Properties doesn't pop up. Help I am in my gallary when I try this.

Go there again and right click on the pic for the size you want. A greyish menu box should display in front of you. Look to the bottom of that menu and find "properties". Click it and the URL for that pic will be there among other info. Either copy it down to type in later or drag over it and copy it to the message body with
tags. Try it.

Go to -

http://imageshack.us/index3.php

there you can upload your photos (one at a time) and when you do it will return the line that you can copy and paste into your post. If you want to post multiple images just use your back button and upload the next one then copy and paste the next [IMG] line in and so on - for example

OK, don't laugh, this pic was taken for some guys at TheDieselStop showing 285 tires on my truck, and it was dirty. I'm just trying to figure out posting photos.

Just a friendly reminder to people that if your thread has too much for people to download, whether that's because the pictures are a large file size, or because there is a lot of them please put a 56k warning notice for the courtesy of non-high-speed internet users. :)

Thanks.
