how to apply #16?

I just popped open the can and realize its just this solid blue thing. Do i just rub the pad on it until the pad has a good amount and then start waxing away? Do I need to use a new pad everytime I run out? I looked in the how to but still wasn't too sure about how to get this stuff onto the pad. I only have 4 applicators, so that might be a problem haha.

just sort of twirl your pad around. you don't need too much. when there's no more on the pad, just twirl it again. just don't put on like a whole layer off of it and wax the whole car with it. it's easy once you get the hang of it.

Moving the applicator around in the can (rubbing it against the wax) will make that solid chunk of wax liquefy, and you'll probably get a *LOT* more wax on the applicator than you need. Squeeze it against the rim of the can and try to get as much wax *out* of the applicator as you can. Don't worry, you'll still have plenty on there.

Put it on *thin*, as in almost Zaino/KSG thin. If you're worried about adequate coverage, just give the car two "coats". Let it set up while you do the next panel or two, then buff it off. If it's hard to get off it means you used too much, so adjust your application technique as you go. If you get it on black trim, it shouldn't be a biggie, but I sorta wipe-on-wipe-off my #16 when it somes to exterior trim. Using the w-o-w-o technique on the rest of the car works, but it seems to compromise the durability a bit; #16 is best when it sets up a little while (at least for the first few applications, once you're merely "refreshing" it seems less important).

Whenever I add another "coat" of #16 after a week or so (after the next wash), I'm impressed by how much better it looks- it's the sort of improvement that others notice and comment on.
