How often does the UPS truck stop by your house?

Like the title says......

Between detailing supplies, Corvette stuff, eBay, household goods, just about anything really(!), I'll say 2-3 times a week for me....

We do a lot of shopping on-line. If you shop around and don't mind waiting a few days for delivery, it's just a lot cheaper!

How often does the big brown truck stop at your place?

When I was working for a living at least twice a week but that was mostly the company sending me stuff. Now that I am retired and on a fixed income (the allowance I get from my wife ) maybe twice a month!

There ya go! FedEx Ground is comparably priced to UPS and it gets there fast. If you watch UPS Tracking (when the stuff actually gets scanned everywhere) when you're anxious for a delivery everything comes to a screeching halt at 5pm on Friday. I get FedEx Ground in 2 - 3 days from anywhere in the country. USPS Priority Mail is impressively speedy as well!

It goes in spurts. With the Holidays coming I expect to see the trucks winding back to my secret Lair in the Woods more often. I HATE shopping! If I don't need it immediately I avoid brick & mortar places like the plague! I'd rather shop online in my underwear at any time of the day or night.

There was a time when the truck stopped by almost every week, then it went down to every month. Now, with a balmy 32F (!) outside, I'll be lucky to get anything usable before the end of April. Boo Hoo

Haha! Yeah, TL, I'm with you on that..... I'd rather take a beating than walk into a store and shop! Sit down at the computer, plan ahead, allow enough time....... get it cheaper!

Well I am on a first name basis with my UPS guy. Now that I am traveling a lot for my real job and my side detail bus. has taken off a bit he stops by about once a month.

I am as well, on a first name basis with my UPS guy. He can usually tell what I'm doing for the month depending what he takes to my door step.... gun related items, car stuff or electronics of some kind . He just about killed me when I ordered 5k of ammo and it came in this huge wooden/ metal crate lol
