I seriously clean the interior 2 twice a year, when doing the exteror.

I keep the interior clean and protected, vacuumed and take of spills/stains immediatley. I do this once a week when washing the exterior.

That's pretty much my schedule with one change.
I remove and clean the carpeted mats weekly as well as vacuuming the remainder of the interior.
It isn't necessarily tied with my washing since I might wash a vehicle 2 or 3 times during that week.

Keep rubber mats in your car for easy clean ups (rinse, degrease, air dry, dress).

Twice a year for deeping cleaning on the rugs once a quarter for the mats....I vac the car almost every week to keep up with the grit.

Whenever it needs it, i find i=I end up doing it 2-3 times in out ditry crappy winter, but dont need to do it in the summer. It also depends how warm the winter is and the number of chinkooks. I had to do it 3 times already and we still haev another month of fun.

My wifes jeep is our family hauler. It gets a serious cleaning twice a year.

Once a month it gets matts pulled and shop vac'd. Leather conditioner and and wipe down.

It's a 96 grand cherokee with just over 200k miles. Still like new inside.
