How not to detail your vehicle (video)

And that dealership is close to me. I'll try to swing by their detail shop and take a look to see if this is how they "detail" every car sold.

True mate . Imagine the poor customer that has his ride done there , he wont want to make business with detailers anymore because of stuff like that .

I think that has to be real and just clueless people. Sadly I am not surprised.

I agree, you can see they are motivated to do the right thing it's just not the right way (It's a clear case of a young blind eagerness vs old school wisdom). I'm sure if they were taught right they would be pretty good. They should have invested the money for that video into mike phillips training class :D

The wash mitt in the interior...

The 5 gallons of water dumped out the extractor...

THE ROTARY USE.

I'm crying.

Haha, that dealership like 10 minutes from me. Believe it or not, it's better than the next closest ford dealership (Pierre in Lake City). I can't imagine why anyone would take their car to a dealership for detailing, or really for anything outside of warranty work.

ElLeon, you in the edmonds/lynnwood area?

I think they edited out the part where they take the pressure washer to the rest of the interior after doing the door jambs. :D

Pay attention - Detailers ---

That video is the Absolute Best Example on How to Install Swirls and Holograms on Paintwork using a Rotary !!!!

There is no better way to explain how and show you than this !!!

As far as all the water - gallons - for sure poured into the Interior - well, this has just coined up a new word for my vocabulary --

"Get your car over for your personalized Swirl-O-Matic-Paint-Treatment, and our patented - Slosh-O-Matic-Interior Treatment !!! "

Wow - I think I have to sit down now.... :)

I wanted to have a good laugh when I clicked on the link, but what I ended up with is silence , and tears.

Did they actually say "wipe the car down with lacquer thinner" or am i hearing things...

Then soak the interior and use air to blow it even further into the electronics???

OMG this is Sad, even I know that's not how you use a PA , I mean look at that angle, and that clay bar movement really long strokes, shaking my head right now ...
