if i may be blunt, i drool when i look at your guys before and afters and the paint...

i cant remember all the ones ive seen, but dns or something with the wicket lit garage, the guy that was FLOWN SOMEWHERE to detail cars (you know your good when)..

im just curious, what is your AVG job cost and what is your uber deluxe one worth? because there is some seriously amazing work being done out there...

im up here in canada, and there is only a couple around my town, and i think its like $100 for wash/wax and interior....which im guessing would be a hack job...although my friends are all happy that have used them..

i realize demographics play a big part, but some of your jobs seem to be 20hrs..

i was on one guys site from here i think, and deluxe was $900 range i think...

basically bored at work, and wondered whtat the rich folk pay for your skillz

Basic $175 takes about 3 1/2 hours

Paint Correction is $75 per hour takes about 8-12 hours = $600-$900

Concourse is $75 per hour takes about 25-35 hours = $1800-$2200

I'm in Dallas, TX.

I have a few different process, but the most popular are my basic which includes, two bucket wash, clay, paint sealant, full interior and all the little things and it starts out at $175.

My other popular process is full paint correction which is all the above with the added full polishing of the paint till flawless which is $75 per hour and typically a 8-12 hour process so most drop between $600-$900.

My biggie is the Concourse job which is too much too list, basically every aspect of the car is better then perfect afterwards and it's $75 per hour as well typically taking me between 25-35 hours so most will drop around $1800-$2200. But I only get a few of those per year, I think I got 6 of them last year.

most I have gotten is 700 for a 58 rolls royce with some paint damage, so perfection was not possible. Removed a lot of oxidation and then proceded with a solid two step to make the grey looking paint BLACK again. took 17 hours total - two people one on the chrome, me on the paint.

125 is my overall vehicle protection package - wash/wax/light interior

then you start adding the polishing steps and paint work and the price goes up

thanks guys...from reading here , alot of hard work goes into perfection....

basically the pollishing (removing defect?) is what takes the longest?

I'm from Toronto and there are a couple others as well here. I charge $450 for Multi-step correction, at roughly 8 hours. I did a 17 hour correction job back in November that came out to about $1000. I try to stay around $60/hour in most cases.

For a new car prep (wash, clay, seal) I charge about $180 and takes 3 hours tops.

Yes, the polishing (well, paint correction) takes the longest. It's something you can't just do once and move on to the next panel. You have to constantly be checking under various sources of light to make sure everything is removed before you can move on.

Where in Eastern Ontario are you located?

just remember, your basic two step will remove about 75-80% of defects, and while that may be enough for your client, its never enough for you! (assuming you have the same drive and desire to perfect everything. Just remember the saying "you get what you pay for"
