I've been extremely busy lately and I would like to hire some help. How much would you pay for someone unskilled to help with detailing a car? And for someone who has skill in using a rotary?
8/hr, depends on how skilled... I used to charge 15 to run a rotary when I did some work for another guy, as I could knock out work twice as fast as someone with a PC or a new guy.
I just gave $120 for 2 days of work. $60 a day. He has some knowledge of car cleaning, not detailing. Washed 2 Duallys, 2 Hummers, an international, 2 other SUV's, p/u, car, and a detail on a nasty van....
Yea I am going to go with the general consensus on this one. It depends on how much experience the guy has. I know a detailer nearby and sometimes we team up with each other on big jobs. Usually we split 50-50. But when I bring in someone to help me and they are using my products, my tools, and need my direction I pay them minimum wage.
