I searched and found that with a PC, two polishes a year wouldn't cut the clear too much. How much life can I expect out of my paint with 2-3 times/year? I do understand to go with least agressive and go up needed and back down to finish also if needed.
Most cars have about 4-5 mils of paint, including primer, base coat, clear coat. 2 mils is about as thick as the plastic that makes up one of the better trash bags.
