How Much CC Eaten?

I doubt that you're gonna get any hard-and-fast answer. Not having used that product, I believe I can still safely say that it won't take off much unless you use that combo all the time.

You can sorta tell how much clear you take off by how much marring gets corrected.

I can't picture a PC eating up too much clear - usually rotary, wool and a heavy cut product will take off .1 mils, so I'd guess (if I had to) that a PC/2.5 takes off less than a quarter of that.

What about us people who might be polishing like every month just looking for a good combo (pad/product) to bust swirls?

I know that I still haven't found my pad/combo yet when it comes to busting swirls on my car.

think of it this way. You have to remove clearcoat to remove swirls. If you're not removing swirls, you're not removing clearcoat.

So in ur case, you can polish everyday, and as long as ur not removing swirls, ur not removing clearcoat.

Unless of course ur pad is dirty or ur surface is dirty and ur just instilling MORE swirls. Then its :nomore:
